Sponsorships and Auction Items Needed

We are looking for Sponsorships and Auction Items for our 7th Annual Awards and Auction!

The 7th Annual GLSEN Washington State Awards Reception and Auction will be on May 6th, 2012 at the Maritime Event Center in Seattle, WA, is Washington's signature event for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth and their allies. This event attracts a couple hundred participants every year.

This year, we will once again roll out the red carpet for these courageous young people and their allies who are working to stop harassment and end homophobia in Washington's K-12 schools.

However, to make this event a success, we need your help. The Washington State GSA Network, a program of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) Washington State, has several ways businesses and organizations can get involved.

In Kind Donations: Silent and live auction items are needed. A donation of products and services is a great way to get your name out there in the LGBT community while helping a nonprofit organization at the same time. The value of your contributed goods, services or financial donation will place you into one of the categories listed below.

Tickets: Tickets purchases are available through BrownPaperTickets.com (Link: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/213231).

Sponsorships: We charge youth and school staff only a fraction of the total costs of putting on the event. We need financial contributions to offset the costs for food, rental, and logistical assistance (such as hotel, travel and meals). We have several sponsorship levels:

SPONSORSHIP LEVELS

$100/Friends of GLSEN--Your name/company will be listed in the program and will receive 2 tickets to the event.

$250/Leadership-- Everything previously stated PLUS a Gift Bag with GLSEN Gear.

$500/Community--Everything previously stated PLUS we will also donate a GLSEN Safe Space Kit to a school in your name.

$1000/Bronze--Everything previously stated PLUS your logo in the program and on the slideshow and your name will be included in all of our social media.

$3000/Silver--Everything previously stated PLUS your name, as a sponsor, on our website.

$5000/Gold--Everything previously stated PLUS we will also include your logo in our Print Media.

$10,000/Platinum--Everything previously stated PLUS, as a Platinum Sponsor, we will also do a Corporate/Company Training on GLSEN-related materials.
