OUR MISSION

At a national level, GLSEN works to ensure safe schools through school resource support, advocacy, and education. Chapters exist throughout the country, which work closely with the national staff of GLSEN to implement programs and affect positive change in school communities. The work that chapters do directly influences the ability for schools to be safe, welcoming and equitable. Our organization believes and advocates for the rights of ALL students to receive an education free of bullying and harassment.

Chapters like ours play an important role in bringing GLSEN's programs and vision to our local school communities. While some chapters have full-time or part-time employees, we are a board of volunteers. We're always looking for new board members, volunteers, and/or allies to help us ensure safe schools for all students. Please inquire for opportunities.
