2008 Youth Conference

For LGBTQ High School Students
and Their Student Allies

High School Students - This conference is about You, Your Communities, Your World, and Your Voice.

The GLSEN Northeast Ohio 2008 Youth Conference will be held Saturday, April 12th at Cleveland State University.

Co-Sponsored by The Gay Straight Alliance Committee (GSA Committee) of GLSEN Northeast Ohio (GLSEN NEO) and the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender (GLBT) Student Services Office of Diversity & Multicultural Affairs at Cleveland State University.

Northeast Ohio high school students who are members of Gay Straight Alliances (GSAs) or LGBT Supportive Diversity Clubs are encouraged to attend. Also invited are those high school students who would like to learn more about such clubs.

The April 12th Conference, the first ever in Northeast Ohio, will start with registration at 9:30am and end at 3:00pm.

Registration, lunch, and parking are all FREE!

The day will consist of a keynote speaker, workshops and discussions about school communities, LGBT rights and issues, and being an activist.
