2008 Robbie Kirkland Memorial Scholarship

Chapter Now Accepting Applications

The Robbie Kirkland Scholarship is a $1,000 award offered annually since 1997.

High school seniors and college students (up to age 22) who live in a 23-county area of Northeast Ohio and who actively support the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered community are eligible to apply. Applicants must plan to attend a post-secondary school during the 2008-2009 academic year.

Scholarship applications, with all supporting material, must be postmarked by April 15, 2008. The recipient will be notified in May 2008, and the Scholarship presented at GLSEN Northeast Ohio's Annual Award Dinner in June 2008.
