Anti-Bullying Resources

Bullying and harassment are widespread problems in our schools, particularly the use of anti-LGBT language as insult or attack. GLSEN’s Executive Director, Eliza Byard notes, "From their earliest years on the school playground, students learn to use anti-LGBT language as the ultimate weapon to degrade their peers. In many cases, schools and teachers either ignore the behavior or don’t know how to intervene."

All students have the right to a safe education free of bullying and harassment. We can stem the tide of anti-LGBT language and bullying in our schools.
