Dignity for All Students Act Signed into Law

On September 8, 2010 New York State Governor Paterson signed the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) into law. DASA ensures that New York State schools will adopt enumerated anti-bullying policies that include protections from bullying and discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity/expression.
