New Paltz Pride 2008

GLSEN Hudson Valley Marches for RESPECT
Jun 01, 2008

More than 2,000 marchers and spectators filled the streets of New Paltz, NY on Sunday, June 1st as part of the 4th Annual New Paltz Pride March and Festival. The event organized by the Hudson Valley LGBTQ Community Center brought many organizations, performers and revelers to the small village in the spirit of Pride.

This year, students representing GSAs from Onteora, Poughkeepsie, Rondout Valley and Walkill school districts marched with Pride alongside GLSEN Hudson Valley.

After the March, GLSEN Hudson Valley was on-hand at the Festival to provide information and resources to support safe schools for all.
