GSA "Coffee Klatsch"

Clubs Discover There is Power in Numbers

Students from 3 area high schools and 2 colleges met at a local coffee house to discuss how to work collaboratively on projects such as a GSA blog spot.

This first meeting was the start of what will hopefully be ongoing discussions between GSAs around joint projects.

IDEAS FOR YOUR SCHOOL:

1. Invite students from other clubs in your school to a GSA meeting to hear about the projects you are working on OR ask for other clubs to come talk to the GSA about their projects. You never know when you might uncover similar goals.

2. Hold a meeting with other clubs to explore developing joint projects within the school.

3. Reach out to other area GSAs and start a dialogue.
