Small Grant Applications Available from GLSEN CT

GLSEN Connecticut is offering grants of up to $200 to students, staff, and teachers in Connecticut schools. These grants are intended to be spent on projects, events, or curriculum materials that will help to make schools safer for all students, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity/expression.

Possible projects include (but are certainly not limited to!) hosting a guest speaker at a school assembly, purchasing GLSEN’s Lunchbox for staff training, providing refreshments at a Gay-Straight Alliance event, or giving students scholarships to attend an LGBT-related or educational conference.

Grants are being awarded on a rolling basis. We want to hear about your successes and how the grant helped you accomplish your goals. Recipients will be asked to provide a short report on the event or project and receipts for all purchases.

If you would like to apply for a small grant from GLSEN Connecticut, please download the application in the right column and submit by email to connecticut@chapters.glsen.org.
