The Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network strives to assure that each member of every school community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.
GLSEN Greater Cincinnati is a chapter of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network. We have been working for safe and respectful k-12 schools for all students regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity/expression in Greater Cincinnati since 1995. With events and programming ranging from our weekly high-school youth group and our annual Prom to professional curriculum and ongoing trainings for school teachers and administrators, GLSEN Greater Cincinnati offers proactive ways to address anti-LGBT bullying and bias in schools.
For information about how we can help your school address bullying, please see the resources link on our home page.
We are an efficient organisation led by volunteers and we're always looking for more skilled and passionate people to help drive our work forward. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you would like to get involved in our work toward safe schools for all students.
